Trijicon RMR® Type 2 Optic
Please note: When mounting this optic on a Staccato handgun, an optic mounting kit is required.
It can be used for hunting, target shooting, police enforcement, military, and concealed carry self-defense. The user controls the illumination using the RMR® Type 2 Adjustable LED sight. The user can switch between manual and automatic modes, change the illumination brightness, and turn off the RMR for storage using simple buttons on the sides of the optic. The LED RMR version and the automated mode both work in the same way. The RMR will stay in manual mode for 16.5 hours after the last button push if manual mode has been selected. The optic will return to automatic mode after 16.5 hours so that the RMR is prepared for your next activity or expedition.

The most widely used dot size is 3.25 MOA, however all RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are suitable with night vision equipment. To ensure that the RMR only operates in automatic mode, the user can additionally lock out the buttons. This guarantees that accidental button presses won’t result in the loss of the aiming solution. Of all the RMR dot sizes, the RM06‘s 3.25 MOA dot is the most widely used and adaptable. The dot is both large enough to find easily and small enough to enable precise shooting at a distance.
